(Quote) I live in Ireland. I wish I had 30°C. I also had a hot chocolate last night, but to warm up and sleep well with this cold virus which my kids brought to me from their school.

(Quote) True. The origin of the holiday is religious, Christian to be more precise. However, on LES it is not about Christianity per se; it is more about offers, deals and idling, while also spending time with the loved ones.

So it's lifetime (with caps), but just 5 years. (Image)

If there is a legal abuse report, there isn't much one can do, but contact the legal agency which issued the legal complaint.

My VPS backup feature is not working in the client area - @host_c - is this related to the guy pulling cables?

(Quote) Therefore renewals and payments work.

(Quote) True. I also recommend phpBB.

So... is this it? Is it the end?

@Andreix - no giveaway of monitors as usual during Black Friday?
-
(Quote) People here would need a coupon. Please keep in mind this community has no payment for provider tags; maybe this information could be used to create LES special offers which could be lower in price (or higher in specs) using special coupons.…

I have to love that frontpage of website in 2025: (Image) And upon clicking the Black Friday link of 2023, it goes to 2024:

My dream this Black Friday is to win the lottery so that I may build myself a house in the northern town of Muff, Ireland. I would be a happy person living in muff, working in muff, and having a beer at the pub in muff. Is that too much to ask for B…

(Quote) It is very hard for someone to answer such question, because it is not tracked. You need a software that tracks its users, in order to have some public statistic about customers. However, things are even more difficult when it comes to a sof…

So the answer of technical guys passionate about computers and servers is: use Cloudflare. The very same answer could be given by a teenager going to high school these days. I honestly expected more from this forum. I expected other solutions and s…

(Quote) I certainly disagree. We are on a technical forum. We can find solutions. Raising your hands up and going with a big corporation in giving up is not the right path, certainly not for a small low-end technical forum. I feel really sad for you…

(Quote) Then it might be the perfect moment for Cloudflare to discontinue the free service. Many from free plans will stay and pay. Or they might continue on this path, and target for 50% of internet reliant on them.

(Quote) All you have to do is just look at the provider polls. Some ideas: NameCrane, Servarica, Gigahost. You can also go with big providers, such as Hetzner. If you really want a content delivery network (even though LES might not actually need o…

(Quote) We might need an AI translation, because MJJ language is quite difficult to understand due to so many variations in interpretation. Perplexity seems to offer a simple point of view. Hopefully I did not break some Cloudflare bot with my requ…

(Quote) The title is not a question, it is a statement, because it ends with a dot.

(Quote) So if Cloudflare, Amazon and Google will go down, all hell will break loose.

(Quote) LES did die, because Cloudflare died, but was resuscitated. We have these admins here on LES who just can't ditch Cloudflare. Maybe @Mason and @mikho consider that LES really needs Cloudflare for some reason.

(Quote) Well, we're the ones who gave them the power. Now they will feed us AI logic in support chat so we can't even protest. We did it to ourselves. They falsely advertised a problem, so they can sell us the solution - and we took it. Ev…

(Quote) True. Yet LetsEncrypt became popular due to Google warning people of insecure websites. Chrome shoved SSL down consumer's throat, even though many websites don't even handle sensitive information to even worry about open networks o…

(Quote) This just shows how bad things are when a huge chunk of the internet relies on a single corporation.

I believe it was just an imbalance from hamsters powering up the low-end server. Things just happen in the low-end world. (Image)

PM sent. I wish to take it.

(Quote) Windows on a 1GB of RAM, I never tried to run it.

2 threads about NameCrane. This is like wasting precious time in all this thinking. Maybe it would be a good idea to their services for a month and test them, just to get it out of mind. Otherwise it feels as if the bride is farting.

(Quote) CraneMail has a different panel - it takes some time to get used to, but it's great. It looks different than what people are used to in general, but this is what I mean by bells and whistles. MXRoute uses the good old-fashioned DirectA…

Some important things to note: * CraneMail: 600 Sent Emails/hour per domain * MXRoute: 400 emails per hour per address is the limit. None of them allows spam or marketing emails. This is why I recommend MXRoute if one has a company which sends lot…

I also recommend MXRoute! (Image)

From what I can gather, they offered lifetime in the past, during previous Black Friday. However, as per their announcement, this Black Friday will "most likely" be the final round with Pro Lifetime plans. This is interesting because there…
