Like OpenVZ, it required a lot of kernel work. It still exists, but nobody cares. KVM is what most people expect in 2026.

    The effort started in 2025-Dec.
It would continue until OpenVZ goes EOM.

While it is safe to purchase a 12-month VZ7 plan now, you shall plan to terminate your project by the end of your first year.
If you renew for a second year, your final 8 months will be donated to botnet for free, and the inevitable SpamHaus listing will be blamed on you.
Luckily, you would able to chargeback the renewal invoice when that happens.

  • Ok, where should I start... Performance wise and network wise Khan's VPS' is among the best I ever had.

Like... Really, it's stable af. And I can recommend it for anyone, no doubt.

Now, good things is over, let's talk about bad things. I have more tickets with Khan than I have altogether with all of the hosters I use.

-Crypto payments with anything beside bitcoin requiries manual approvement via ticket
-IPv6 died on SE servers about two weeks ago, and there's no ETA, just "we know, we are working on it"
-Promo NAT deal from TG channel didn't have an internal IPv4 assigned, so it's not a NAT server, and there's a silence for a few days after I've raised a ticket.

And something like a bonus. Khan's VPS' have a trafic limit. I was asking to let me pay for two VPS', but only get one with a traffic limit of two. It's a win-win situation in my opinion. I pay the same, but hoster uses less resources. Was denied.

But, again, even with all of such complains, I can recommend Khan's VPS. Not sure how it will be aged, but for now it's an amazing deal.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this detailed review. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration you've experienced recently. We truly appreciate your kind words about our performance and network stability, it means a lot to us that you'd recommend us based on that. ❤️

However, I completely understand your concerns regarding the support side of things. You are absolutely right, and I want to be transparent with you:

Since we are a low-end budget provider , our support structure is intentionally lean to keep prices as low as possible. This means we aren't always able to respond to every ticket as quickly as we'd like. I personally want to assure you that I am aware of the delays, but due to a heavy development workload and a few ongoing health issues on my end, I haven't been able to keep up with the ticket queue as fast as I normally would. I take full responsibility for that, and I am working hard to get back on track.

Regarding the specific issues you mentioned (IPv6, NAT IPs, and traffic limits), please know that your feedback has been noted. While I can't promise immediate fixes for all of them right now, I am logging these to ensure they are addressed as soon as possible.

Again, thank you for your patience and for sticking with us. We are committed to improving, and feedback like yours helps us get there.

Honestly, I understand that part, and that's why I still can recommend your service as one of best in that segment, despite some complains.

And thank you for resolving the issue with NAT.

VPS is working, IPv4 connection is fine. Feels fast and responsive.

IPv6 doesn't seem to work. IPv6 in the web management panel and in the output of "ip a" is the same, but connections to that IP doesn't reach VPS. Port 22 is open, but that's another instance or machine.

There's also really strange log of login attempts, but I guess that's because password I entered during "purchase" wasn't the same as I had in email with credentials. So hypervisor or something like that wasn't able to login.

UPDATE: Now IPv6 works as well, but I think there's someone else now, who lost connection :)

Thank you for testing the VPS and sharing your feedback. We investigated the reported issues and confirmed that IPv4 is functioning correctly. IPv6 routing and inbound SSH connectivity are now also working normally.

The failed SSH login entries originated from the internal host gateway (192.168.1.1) and were caused by an internal password-verification retry, not an external unauthorized login attempt. We have enabled additional auditing to monitor any similar activity.

Please let us know if you experience another interruption, including the approximate time and affected IPv6 address.

How was your overall experience with the panel? Did you encounter anything confusing or feel that any improvements were needed? Since the hypervisor is only for NAT VMS, we would also appreciate any suggestions for additional features or improvements to NAT and port management.

First of all, there's literally no "cancel" button in the new UI =) Nor in the old client area, neither in the new management panel at lxcde.cheapkvm.net. So I can't do it.

I like new UI a lot, mostly because it feels way-way faster and more responsive than Virtualizor's UI.

The thing I don't like thought is that default ssh connection string in that UI looks like "ssh [email protected] -p {myport}". There's a lof of a security reasons you shouldn't use your domain as an entry point. Especially for a NAT VPS. But that could be beta-only thing.

Know that feeling! Had the same issue when I ran MrVm. Did a template change in WHMCS to actually print all of that on the service page.
Then a FAQ with the info on where to find it. :)

Also began some tests with ticket filtering and auto-reply on things like "when will my VPS be deployed" and "where is my VPS information".
Never had the time to implement all triggers before handing it over, but it was a "fun" time.

Never had the time to implement all triggers before handing it over, but it was a "fun" time.

everything is mentioned email even port calculator link is there but no one have time to read i cannot call it fun

At least for Firefox desktop browser, if we paste the username and password and then solve the reCAPTCHA, both username and password disappear.
If we solve the reCAPTCHA first and then paste the username and password, the webpage returns "invalid credentials".
