Bastrio: A Browser Workspace for Docker, SSH, Databases, RDP and MCP

edited September 16 in Technical

Hi everyone,

I’m building Bastrio, a browser-based workspace for managing remote servers and infrastructure from one place.

Managing a VPS often means switching between an SSH client, file manager, database tool, Docker interface, remote desktop client, and proxy settings. Bastrio brings these common tasks together in one web workspace.

Bastrio supports SSH terminal sessions, remote server management, Docker applications, file browsing and transfers, database connections and SQL queries, database backups, remote desktop sessions, proxy configuration, and operation history.

It also supports the Model Context Protocol, or MCP. This allows AI clients such as Claude, Codex, and Cursor to connect to a Bastrio workspace. With the appropriate permissions, an AI assistant can help check server status, inspect logs, review Docker workloads, read configuration files, inspect database schemas, run read-only queries, and assist with routine infrastructure tasks.

Sensitive operations can require explicit approval before execution. Access can be limited through scoped permissions, and operation activity can be reviewed through the web interface.

Bastrio is currently in private beta, and I’m actively improving it. I would especially appreciate feedback from VPS users, developers, and people who work with Docker, SSH, databases, proxies, or remote desktops.

Thanks for reading. I’d be happy to answer any questions.

===================================================
Promotion has been much harder than I expected, especially for a small startup project. It can feel discouraging and unfriendly for new founders trying to get noticed.

I’m hoping to grow Bastrio into a broader business offering servers and proxy IPs, but getting the project in front of people has been difficult. I’m sharing these codes mainly to get honest feedback and hopefully find a few early users willing to give it a try. Please share any suggestions or criticism with me—I’d really appreciate your feedback.

  • These are 90-day VIP Max activation codes, which provide the highest membership level on Bastrio.

    I’m sharing them only in exchange for feedback, and exclusively with the LowEndSpirit community. If you use one, please try Bastrio and let me know what you think.

    Sensitive operations are already restricted, and AI actions require authorization, especially for sensitive commands. This has been taken into consideration from the very beginning.

    wish you all the best.

  • Actually, it wasn’t a video. I’ll slow it down for him—the demonstration was definitely too fast.
