Hostiko discontinuing their Kyiv location

Earlier today I got an email from @hostiko regarding closure of Kyiv location and migrating existing services to Warsaw in the next couple days:
Anticipating the risk of attacks on data centers in Ukraine, we have regularly reminded our customers of the importance of maintaining up-to-date backups. Several days ago, due to the increased risk, we urgently evacuated part of the equipment from our Kyiv data center that could be safely taken out of operation. Last night, one of the data centers in Kyiv was struck.
We can no longer accept this level of risk to our infrastructure and business and have therefore made the difficult decision to close our location in Ukraine.
Virtual servers currently hosted in Kyiv will be migrated to Warsaw in the near future. Your IP addresses and server specifications will remain unchanged. The migration will require a server reboot and temporary downtime of up to 40 minutes. If you do not wish to continue using the service in Warsaw, we can refund the remaining prepaid period.
For dedicated servers, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible to discuss the available options.
Anticipating that such a situation could eventually arise, we opened our Warsaw location in 2023 as an alternative site. Warsaw is the closest EU capital to Kyiv, with approximately 14 ms latency between the two locations, making it an excellent choice for serving users in Ukraine.
We have taken a number of measures in advance to prepare for this scenario so that we can migrate services with minimal impact on our customers.
Service with them has been remarkably stable ever since I got it, with only a couple minute downtime on 15th this month. (which SLA automatically got credited)
They have already been warning to verify backups and offering to migrate customers to an alternative location a few days prior.
Existing customers likely already got the email, but in case anyone is still considering Hostiko for Kyiv PoP, I'm sad to say this is no longer a possibility ![]()

That's a very well handled response to an extremely difficult situation.
Slow Servers VPSs hosted on OpenBSD's VMM on secondhand, low power hardware in Spokane, WA, USA. Routed /64 IPv6 allocations included, IPv4 $1/month extra.
Small update:
My VPS was migrated to Warsaw last night around 2:30 am UTC+2.
The IP addresses remain unchanged, my uptime kuma didn't even record downtime and VPS has been running stable since.
The latency for me actually went down from 23ms to 13ms.
Thanks @hostiko and wish you all best
