Cloady: free app + database workspace — 0.5 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 5 GB SSD
Hi LES, I'm Georgii, the person behind Cloady. I run the platform through NeptoLab, and wanted to share the free workspace here for anyone trying a small app or a self-hosted tool.
The free allocation
- 0.5 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 5 GB SSD for the workspace as a whole
- 200 GB of traffic
- Deploy from a GitHub repo, a Docker image, uploaded source files or a template
- Persistent volumes, custom domains with HTTPS, logs and a browser terminal
An app and its database can share that allocation. For example, you can run a small API alongside PostgreSQL, as long as their combined requirements fit. This is a managed container platform; it doesn't give you root access to the host OS.
A few limits worth knowing before signing up
No card is required to start. Create an account to deploy. There is one free allowance per person or organization, not one per service or extra account. It stays free within those resource limits. If you choose capacity above any free limit, the full workspace allocation becomes billable, so check the calculator before scaling.
For a first test, I'd suggest deploying a copy of a small project and checking its environment variables, volume mounts and logs before moving real traffic. Keep your own database backup and test restoring it before switching over.

Happy to answer questions about the setup or help work out whether a particular stack fits the free allocation.
