BLACK FRIDAY - CYBER MONDAY - CREDIT offers

InceptionHostingInceptionHosting Hosting ProviderOG

It was quite common to see credit based offers over the past few years e.g.

Buy $100 in credit, get $25 free added on to your account, that sort of thing.

I am not seeing many this year, I may do one on Cyber Monday myself.

Anyone seen any or know of any or if any hosts are offering any, please post them here :)

Never understood the appeal tbh. Complicates the calculation of how much to load & is inherently non-recurring.

If I spend 5k p/month with a host and they offer even a 10% credit boost, i am dropping 20k because that's a few percent points on my own bottom line.

I know this is the LE* world but some of us spend big :D

Yeah I guess the credit route has advantages. Effectively discounts the entire range of products by a %.

My idea of spending big is 15 USD a month so maybe not the target audience lol

  • don't know how attractive it will be, most people as @havoc mentioned can't do the math, especially when under stress that they are missing other offers

@dahartigan mentioned just today about Quantum Computing's deal (sign up, add $ 5 to get $ 50 credit ) at LET.
    https://quantumcore.com.au/freecredit

"Bug bounty" at WPbubble, the host/creator Matt offered $ 25 for identifying + reporting a bug. You need to sign up and have an existing paid account of course.

They also had a BF deal - $ 10 worth of credit when you sign up. For the base plan, that is @ two months' hosting cost.
    https://wpbubble.com/deals

And finally the famous (?) "crackback" offer by @SpryServers_Tab a few days ago.

I was quite happy RamNode did another credit offer but only cause I have service with them. I guess you gotta have some sort of interest already before you double credit on a newbie.
