    Maybe you should try

    ping 8.8.4.4 -c 2

    If this succeeds, then the problem should lies in DNS;
    since you can connect the VPS via SSH, I believe at least the IPv4 network is fine.

    So I will just walk away and seek another provider.

    Very slow disk, I've seen this before in @natvps_uk . But being cheap is more important than speed or performance.

    I wonder if there's some explanation behind this, I think apt installation are working by downloading pkg from repository then writing them into the system storage. what i don't get is, why this slowness only affect apt (well, for now), but my wget / curl download capability along with transmission can gain 10MB/s easily

  • Hello, for now we no longer plan to provide VPS-uri NAT, unfortunately maintenance to these VPS-uri is overworking and we encounter a lot of problems with them

    Then disk performance is not the culprit. You need to ask Google to seek similar conditions.

    I've encountered a slow system update, which turned out to be a netplan problem, causing system freezes about 30 seconds. And the solution is simple, just remove netplan and config network with systemd-networkd.

    hahah I feel you. But after all of that painful slowness and 1 week provisioning time, the price is unbeatable for me to sail the seven seas. I hope we can renew this for upcoming years 😂

    Can you just offer more ports per server instead ? 5 is too low. Or IPV6.

    Why?
