I have a flash sale server on SEAZ002. Can I move it to CHI2Z027 please? I have no option to request the move within the control panel.

  • Lol, Greencloud should do Remote Hands for Virmach in TYO (below message from Greencloud owner in their telegram chat)

Yours is down for another reason and I assume since it was offline before the recent issue(s) and controls are down, it'll stay offline until controls are back or you open a ticket for manual controls (and we get to it.)

Only about 6 hours this time around and it was technically online. The "down" is where I stopped trying to calm it down and power cycled. This was written out a couple days ago before another round of issues with this node.

TYOC026 is not doing well. PHXZ002 is not doing well. Frankfurt is doing relatively well plus everyone's aware of the gameplan. Frankfurt's technically online, just the same people that keep going down are probably down. PHXZ002 finally stabilized after a lot of very specific and time-consuming work, so it'll probably be PHXZ002 --> TYOC026 --> FFME002/FFME004 right now on the backlog of putting out fires. It's always wonderful that everything always seems to happen together with no room to breath.

(edit) Last 6 hours or so of extra delays were definitely my fault though, I had to eventually sleep. Most of yesterday had to be spent on PHXZ002. I had to go down and specifically find VMs on specific sectors of the disk blah blah to stabilize it.

    Probably changedetection

  • Dear VirMach Customers,

There have been partial outages on PHXZ002 over the last few weeks which have become more critical. If your service has been affected, it's possible that you may be included in emergency migrations away from this node. This will involve data transfer and an IP change, and your service will return back online after completion.

The controls have been locked off temporarily for all customers on PHXZ002 while we perform this migration.

Any additional information will be posted on the network status page.

  • The three-week migration seems to be coming to an end. I can only wish Virmach a happy new year.

  • @VirMach said: you open a ticket for manual controls (and we get to it.)

    ticket sent

  • Received a notification saying my VPS in PHX may have problems.

    But I don't care. It's flan time.

Making some changes for stability which required a reboot. The problem this time around was a lot less severe than last time (and different) so I'm addressing that to hopefully buy us some more time as I don't wan to have to proceed as originally planned (immediately migration to Amsterdam.) Because SolusVM fixed another thing related to migrations which means they broke another thing related to migrations and I'm not about to spend the entire day troubleshooting that. Well it's not like much of it is left anyway.

I've been working on a whole different system for it and I want to try to aim for getting it done so that can be used instead.

Can @VirMach make a great schedule for DALZ004, DALZ007 and LAX2Z019 again? Thanks!
