It's an obvious (and commonly used) way of phrasing stuff. Often used to provide different opinions with a touch of humour.
It's obviously not an attempt to forge what you said.
An example:
If I wrote "MDDHosting and Veerotech are my favourite providers."
Someone might quote it like this:
That's an obvious joke, if a bit edgy (a new member might not wnat to do that for another new member who might not understand it or get offended).
The "fixed it for you" and leaving the original part crossed is what makes the difference (makes it obviously clear what it is).
