OnePoundEmail - Black Friday 2024 Special (We Will NOT Be Selling Email for £4 per Year)

edited December 2024 in Offers

I took a trip down memory lane and looked at our past offers to figure out how we can make this year’s deal even better.

In 2022, we tried offering 1GB storage with 10 domains for £4/year. But only 3 accounts are still active today—one is pending cancellation after switching to a better deal at MXroute, and the other 10? Cancelled or never even activated. Guess they just liked collecting idle services. Fast forward to 2023, we thought we got clever with promo codes: £1/year (1 use), £2/year (2 uses), £3/year (3 uses), and £4/year (4 uses). The £1, £2, and £3 deals were snapped up faster than free booze at a party. But the £4 deal? Crickets. Not a single taker. Apparently, £4 is the point where everyone calls it quits.

That's why I'm excited to announce this year's Not-£4-Black-Friday-Special!

Introducing: The OnePoundEmail Black Friday 2024 Special!

Taking all that wisdom into account, I’m super excited to drop this year’s Black Friday deal—just £3.99 per year!

Here’s what you get:

  • 10GB Storage – because 1GB just isn’t cutting it anymore
  • Unlimited Domains – go wild, create as many as you want!
  • Unlimited Email Addresses – why have one when you can have a hundred?
  • Access to the finest webmail services: Crossbox, Roundcube, and Snappy (snazzy names included)
  • Catch-All Email Support – no more missed emails, even if people can’t spell your username right
  • SMTP, IMAP & POP3 access – sounds fancy, but it just means you can email from pretty much anywhere
  • IMAPSync Tool – migrating your old emails has never been easier
  • Send up to 300 emails per hour – because who needs a break when you’ve got emails to send?

Order your Black Friday 2024 plan now: Don’t miss out!

Thanks for sticking around with OnePoundEmail! Let’s make this Black Friday the best one yet!

Hi, I'm Socks, and I'm a buy-services-then-idle-them-oholic. I'm pretty sure that I have gotten 3 services from onepoundemail over the past couple years and never used activated any of them, so I end up eventually cancelling before they renew. But the prices are so good, I end up getting another one the next year, thinking I'll surely use it this time! ...I'm strong now, and have the willpower to resist doing it yet again in 2024...even though it's 10GB now instead of the 5GB deal I had last year...definitely...

I don't think @jarland will be offering $5/year plans anymore. So this Black Friday should be a perfect timing for resellers to step in.

OnePoundEmail is exclusively a reseller of MXroute.

  • Been idling similar service for 2 years now with webhorizon, might switch to this deal for storage increase. :)

You reminded me I did not respond to Abdullah after I sent my last unsolicited takeover request in November last year.

    MichaelCee November 2023
When I owned SmallWeb, Jay would often message me every 2-3 months asking me to sell up.

Now Jay is gone, it's my turn to message you every 2-3 months.

But first, hope you and your family and friends are well and healthy.

If you ever want to cut ties with offering email hosting. Let me know and I will happily scoop your clients up and make them feel at home for a reasonable settlement.

    Cheers!

I wanted to post some FAQs from things I'm getting in the chat a lot.

Can I upgrade/downgrade an existing plan?
No. This option has been disabled. You can only purchase this plan brand spanking new. You will not receive any assistance migrating old plans.

    Is OnePoundEmail a OneManArmy?
Typically, yes. Most things are done by me (Michael) but not always. Occasionally extra hands will be available when necessary.

    Where is the server located?
The IP is geolocated to Ashburn in USA. It is my understanding that this service is hosted in a facility operated by QuickPacket.

Can you offer a lifetime price?
No. If you want lifetime, go to MXroute, they actually own (or lease from a root level) the infrastructure.

What if you get hit by a bus?
It is a good point. There's no official contingency. I will be getting married and presumably will let the other half into an emergency plan.

You sold SmallWeb! You're going to sell OnePoundEmail too!
No, I'm not. That was a mistake. OnePoundEmail has now officially been operating for longer than SmallWeb did during my tenure.

What payment methods do you offer?
You can pay in EUR, GBP and USD via PayPal, Bank Transfer (GBP only) and Credit/Debit Card. You can also pay with crypto via Coinbase.

Do you offer Dedicated IP addresses?
    Nope.
