Important Bandwidth Policy Update — Effective April 1, 2025
Dear Valued Customer,
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure fair usage, reduce infrastructure costs, and maintain stable pricing, we are updating our post-quota bandwidth policy.
What's Changing?
Before:
After reaching your monthly high-speed bandwidth allocation, services were throttled to 50–100 Mbps, depending on your plan.
Now (Effective 01-April-2025):
Once your high-speed quota is depleted, bandwidth will be limited to 10 Mbps until your billing cycle resets.
Why This Change?
To avoid price increases during rising operational costs
To maintain fast and fair service for all users

Probably, because of this. But, this also said until March 31.
I thought now that the Q1 is almost over, there might be a new payment method to pay for the deals, but...

.... "for the moment we cannot provide a full rack @ 6KW / hour, only @ 3KW / hour" .......
So I am patiently waiting. I cannot do anything with 3KVA rack, as that barely covers routing, switching a 2x 24 bay servers.
in other words, "fuck,shit,damn" - not necessarily in that order.
Until then, we will focus on internal lan, CPU upgrade in Oradea and most probably a core router upgrade ( yes, again ) in Oradea.
There is some good in this, I think we will manage to kill the E5 2690 V4 before we open the next location and remain only with Scale Gen 2 an AMD Ryzen.
I might have something " interesting " as a small location, but it will be IPV6 only, still thinking if that would make any sense, as there is little to no love for ipv6

Bad news is that it did not went as expected. While also doing Firmware Update on one of the nodes, the ETH card decided to leave this realm to join the 5'th dimension, so we had to change the card and reconfigure the node, it took us ±2 hours.
SRY for that.
The more bad news is that the remaining nodes will get this CPU upgrade ( 614X -> 624X ) within the next weeks. ( no exact ETA for now )
The upgrade to Scale Gen 2 will be free of charge for all customers having services on the Xeon Scale Gen 1 Platform.

Hy there fellas.
We are working together with Modules Garden them to find a solution for the separation of traffic between Public Interface and LAN interface.
As soon as we manage to do that, this option will go to Beta test and then main-stream.
There will be options of of 1G to 10G lan speeds options, but more on this when we have an actual working product.

Those were the first, also most/all of them got the Scale gen 2 by default when we introduced them.
Next round of Upgrades from Scale Gen 1 to Scale Gen 2 is for end of April. - same, free of cost.
