For an uniquely Virmach experience, I offer this suggestion for the sale:
Service offering is $3 year
Service starts and remains in Pending
Every so often (week? month?) Virmach goes through with a random number generator and enables some small number of these based on available resources
Specifications are random within a range
No Refunds
Customers can pay for some number of these offerings, with the hope of winning a great offering - but might not ever get it.
A few bucks seems fair for an 'idler' which doesn't need maintenance or updates ...
Great way to have thousands of tickets, chargebacks, smear campaigns, conspiracy theories, etc. But other than that it's definitely something I'd want to do on a lighter level.

Here's another idea I've always wanted to implement: VPS with blackout hours. Good for servers with excess disk space and IPv4. Every time you power it down, it hops around. You get X hours in X regions per month with blackout hours based on region and servers according to their usage patterns. Any time you hit a blackout you just have to make it hop over to a server without active blackouts.
Could be pretty cool for use cases that don't require 24x7 operation. Will never actually happen as it'd require a lot of work and even then it'd be riddled with bugs. We can barely keep our migration without data tool functional.
(edit2) oh and the actual implementation to where it's not super confusing would just end up being base fee plus cloud hourly billing except we don't bill you when it's offline and you can set up auto power off settings, and there'd be peak hour pricing. Also opens the door for having it be opt in for existing customers to save money, never actually higher price than full price 24x7 regular plan.
I choice use k3s & rancher build light k8s for now plus Longhorn for storage scale, to deal with this problem. If virmach can auto switch server that was awesome!
@jam said: @VirMach can you please check ticket #235008 ?
I'm still waiting since 12-28-2022...
According to the report in https://status.virm.ac/?s=62db717ae694aa58bb736097, I see TPAZ003 working well, so I do not know why the delay.
Ticket system does not let me ask again in the same ticket, so I ask here
Thanks!.
Any reason why this was changed away from priority department? Let me know so we can correct it. They're mostly ignored if it's not priority department. If you use buttons that auto-generate ticket department and text you should not change them, for best results.
I don't know... I have not changed the ticket. I think the change was on your side.
Is TPAZ005 decommissioned or something? Haven't seen it mentioned or referenced for a long while, but it still says the node is locked. Think I have a VM stuck in limbo status that's been kaput for awhile. All my other VMs seem to be happy and healthy.
Nvm... I'm just fuckin blind. Ignore this MJJ please.
TPAZ005 is still being looked at, and running into complications. You'll be credited and we are still attempting to retrieve data.

It would be good to add the node you are talking about.
EDIT: Or what the problem is and what you have done to try and fix it.

Nope can't ignore it I have charged you 25 bucks and opened a super important high priority want it yesterday ticket.
@VirMach said: Aware. I've been aware of it the whole time. Still won't be fixed for at least several days, sorry. It's lower down in the priority queue on same level as other pending orders.

1. Denver & Tokyo restock ETA? --- If not this year, perhaps next one.
2. Why MIGRATION button remains dead? --- Too much money coming in from the button, its worn out and needs replacement.
3. Is there any chance Tokyo storage get restocked? --- Yes when someone cancel it.

The monitoring of node DAL-Z006 is normal, but the VPS under this node keeps showing offline and has not been working properly.
It's been like this since I paid for it, it's been bad since I bought it, it's been 18 days today and it's always been bad and not working.
Fun little story, I had a Netflix subscription since a very very long time ago, back when they used to mail movies and I even bought their stock with most my money in high school but that's a little side story.
They started banning VPNs and naturally I was on a VPN pretty much all the time. I got into an argument with one of their support agents that devolved into me telling him to prove to me that I wasn't living in a datacenter cage and just ended up cancelling my subscription. A few years have passed, and all that's changed is that I now don't spend several hours a week trying to find a movie to never watch.
Anyway, the whole market segment for VPNs that work on Netflix is something I'll never understand. It's like... you already have a VPN. Usually the next step ends up being qBittorrent. But yeah there's probably tens of thousands of people that actually pay $8-13 a month for a VPN just so they can access their other $8-13 subscription (actually I assume probably more now with price hikes) in a desired region. Very strange world.
I also vote on cancelling Phoenix as it also carries a risk of activating a weird WHMCS bug where it asks you to pay $0 and then terminates when it's impossible. Too risky for production.

Another fun little story is they are wasting their god damned time and money, not to mention the Provider's time and money because NetFlix will just their dumb asses sooner or later. Better to find a VPN service that has residential IPS and specializes in unblocking them. Most of them will even swap IPS if yours get blocked.

Things like BritBox will charge ya $8 per month. yet if ya got a decent UK VPS ($12~$15 per year), ya could access BBC iPlayer & iTV for free. USA is another rather bizarre and unique place compare to their civilized counterparts.

It's quite impressive that VirmAch actually finished high school. According to MJJ-Loc, ya also got a posh sport car?

Yeah they check IP origin not whether it is a Residential IP or not. NetFlix is an entire ball game all together, same goes for Hulu. There aren't any IPv4 left sooner or later they will ban all DC IPS and then maybe they will get the message.
