My VPS is on the lax1z014 node. It has been inaccessible for the past 16 hours, and I can no longer see this node's status on the website's server health page. When will it be restored? @VirMach
Are you blind? The company has multiple machines offline for a long time, and the CEO don’t respond to their customers or provide any new information. Yes, maybe VirMach is still running, but it seems like they are in the process of either closing or selling the company.
For the last 10 moths, my Virmach VPSs in LAX have been so stable and they have outperformed my other VPSs from top providers here and at LET. I just hope Virmach will soon be back to what it was.

my NYC servers are still doing amazing, we're talking 4 core or higher, 4GB ram or higher, tons of space, tons of IPs, tons of bandwidth, each vps is like $1.50 a month. I've had VPS like this for more than 5x the price that weren't as good. Yay virmach!
Just in from UptimeRobot: Phoenix data center is back online.
The server indicates a 72-day uptime, which means the location lost network connection but the servers were running this whole time.
The latest incident has been resolved and your monitor is up again. Good job!
Monitor name: box5 VirMach PHX
Checked URL: 31.222.201.0
Root cause: Host Is Unreachable
Incident started at: 2024-08-13 14:06:21
Resolved at: 2024-09-12 12:07:40
Duration: 718 hours and 1 minutes
This incident exposed one missing piece in our backup strategy: we didn't have backup of a certain private key, which prevents us from adding new nodes to the push-ups delivery network.
Had the Phoenix data center not coming back, we would have to do a complicated rekey procedure across 8 servers and 4 applications.

A moderator is away for months...shouldnt they resign or removed from that position
A user with 4 years old account post total offtopic in VirMach topic - shouldn't they resign or removed from that position?
Do you really think this is a good place to ask questions like that?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?what if Virmach is just building all new servers for Black Friday? he might be on his 200th new server, workbench fully loaded.
why would he do that given the high hardware failure rates experienced and all those troubles with remote hands

I would only do something if Virmach Shared went under (be it Virmach wants to transfer the users, or it goes under).
Past that I'm not going to sit in their posting thread trying to poach.
