(Quote) The normal/shared hosting plans on SiteTide have auto-installers. Where required users may request a cron job (via ticket). For The Cloud Hosting Plans, you get ssh access, plus Cron Job setup via the Web-UI. For the upcoming product line o…

Nextcloud is quite nice, if properly maintained and configured and tuned. I'm running a few "managed" installations for clients. This will in the near future also turn into a public service. Already got a brand name selected, just wa…

(Quote) I have been considering doing a 10 year plan. Like sharedhosting that can be associated with one domain name (no changes). But the calculation for even this makes very little sense from a business perspective, as its hard to predict costs …

(Quote) To put it simply: "No". You are ofc free to speculate, but please do remove the misleading picture from your post. (Quote) That sadly is the reality. Old, outdated things causing problems. Are you really surprised that at some po…

I can probably arrange something in vienna or amsterdam if you want. For the Low power colo in 1U formfactor you are looking at around 30 Euro / Month. However that is with 25TB of Traffic on a 1Gbit/s Link. If you really want a 1g flat or 1G 95th…

The way i see it its always depends on what was actually ordered, and what the scope of that service is. As an example with MrvM and the upcoming KVM lineup. KVM will be dedicated resources, so users can compile all day long.... The LXC series (bei…

(Quote) The new ripe fee does apply both to existing and new registrations. It was introduced/voted for at the last general meeting. The work involved for a transfer is 90% identical to a new registration. In addition any policy complaint LIR will a…

(Quote) Feel free to disagree with it, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Factually, 50 Euro is priced "at cost" to the lir assuming there is no tax component. (It also assumes there is no work involved. Because this (50) is what ripe…

(Quote) Factually you will not find a lower cost solution from a RIPE LIR.(unless you find someone willing to take a loss on proving you with resource sponsoring.) If you want a good LIR, that will be there in the long run, values stability and pre…

(Quote) The interesting thing about this, is until about a year ago, most configurations offered where actually dual disk (you can check the post history) Based on feedback/requests, the standard is now single disk, with the option to upgrade later.…

(Quote) Since i have some spare micro-dedi's in Amsterdam.... I'll make you a storage deal.... (valid 24 hours or until its sold out). CPU: Intel Atom C2550 (4cores/4 threads) Memory: 16 GB Storage: 1x 4TB HDD Traffic: 25 TB @ 1Gbit/s IP-…

The interesting thing is that i actually tried to get in touch about either working together or an acquisition. They have not gotten back to me. Make of that what you want :)

If you want some quality hosting services and cpanel is not a hard requirement, then look at SiteTide. I'm happy to do a bulk-discount if you grow to multiple accounts in the future. Regardless if you want to do just a few small projects via t…

(Quote) Thank you for pointing out the typo. Fixed now. (That said, since you are the one to discovered and reported it, I'd be happy to give you 10 Euro in account credit for the report.) Kind Regards

(Quote) Dont know them. However looking at the mentioned page, i see that even for their 1u offerings, the power is billed separately, so keep this in mind power can be a major factor in your monthly cost. You should also look at the cost of add-on…

(Quote) Forgot to mention. For uplink instead of per TB, we can also do 95th percentile billing if you know your traffic patterns.
