Anyone have a "one month later" review of any sort? I know they have a good reputation for the VPS side so I'm tempted to move all my sites over...

(Quote) I don't care where it's hosted, if it's in a datacenter or a basement, owned or leased, fully above-board or sketchy af, I will always upvote give a thanks to hardware picture posts!

(Quote) That's my frustration though -- it's still completely separate from SimpleLogin, not integrated. I absolutely love Proton as a company, I'm a paying customer (MailPlus only though), and will wholeheartedly say that they make a lot of improve…

(Quote) Basically an email alias service, so you can have like [email protected] instead of giving your real email to a site, helps prevent spam and hides your real email in case of a leak.

Today they announced they are "joining forces" with Standard Notes: https://proton.me/blog/proton-standard-notes-join-forces I do not know this other company but it sounds like an encrypted notes kinda thing, so that could be a nice addit…

(Quote) Just in case, I went and pored through my router settings. All the ipv6 ones were already turned on except one, which did indeed relate to dhcp assignments on the local network (and I'm a little confused by that, as I thought the point of ip…

(Quote) (Image) Who knows? I'm even using one of their own modems, too (the XB7). Then again, their website also says that my city has the upgraded upload speeds, too, and yet I get 1200/35 instead of the 1200/200 that is supposedly offered in my…

(Quote) Curious what some of the more useful locations are then in your opinion!

(Quote) Maybe if you used a lower quality fabric softener, they wouldn’t be so comfortable!

My local ISP doesn't give me an IPv6 address, so there ya go. Yay for Comcast.

(Quote) Lol yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. I have no idea if it's Windows 11 doing it or not, and of course Firefox is it's own thing, but Chrome and Edge have more normal scroll bars, so who knows!
-
(Quote) First off....what if I told you that the scroll bar IS visible in that picture, and that I personally hate the Firefox scroll bar, lol. It's tiny, thin, and too easy to lose. And it's the latest stable version, 124.0.1 as of this post, on Wi…

For whatever it's worth (from someone who bought an account in December but hasn't started to use it yet, lol), I like the page for the most part. My only suggestion would be to slightly reduce the size of the "PROFESSIONAL EMAIL" font (li…

I had the same issue with the "VPN appears to be disabled" for one I bought around the same time as OP. I'm guessing when c1v changed it to be wireguard (which is 1000% preferable, of course) they didn't reprovision or reboot or something.…

Is there any minimum time on the forum required for a host tag? I wouldn't expect anything large, but maybe X number of days after the first (or last) post to hit the minimum number required before the tag can be approved? Just to further emphasize …

Both, actually. It's "other green forum."

The Lounge is a really nice modern client that you can host on a very tiny vps (easily alongside other things). Have never messed with the server part of things so not sure on that part!

I feel really dumb for having bought one of the offers before it was removed >.> At least I finally have some validation that my confusion over whether it was in the UK or not.

Does this mean I gotta get rid of nginx proxy manager, damn...

I'm 117 years old, what do I choose? My nephew is typing this for me.

My home machine, no, because of gaming essentially. My work laptop dual boots with Mint, though, currently trying Cinnamon (+ Windows).

IMO no spam, or mayyyybe the 'let it sink' option. But LES needs to be about quality, not quantity. That plus a lot fewer assholes is what makes this place awesome <3 Personally, I hate the FOMO feeling that those threads create (especially the…

Given that it's free to use at a base level, any thoughts or comparisons on how Proton VPN compares to some of these? At least the free version?

Question! The Mon-Sat 9am-6pm is what timezone? Italian time? Granted, for $1/year VPN service, I wouldn't ever contact support...more just curious!

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through LES Not a promo was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that Exclusive Deals soon would be there; The servers were idling all snug in their yabs; W…
