Really interesting to see the difference in tone and style of response for @toxicmagiska 's ticket and mine since we're basically in the same spot (albeit he has multiple accounts) of not responding to the migration e-mail in time. Also interesting …

Damn, had work today so couldn't join the festivities. Had fun reading @Wonder_Woman 's post about solving the cipher though. Now just have to find the one flash sale deal I can't resist...
-
(Quote) I asked about SEA yesterday and got crickets from @VirMach . I'm guessing they might be full up at that location if it still does exist. Haven't seen it a single time on the flash sale page yet.
-
I haven't been watching every single deal, but is Seattle included in these flash sales? I've got LA and SJ covered, but have yet to grab that last west coast location.
-
New Amsterdam deal is an absolute banger even at base $20: 4GB, 4C, 130GB HDD, 20TB, 3 IPv4 Edit: And it's gone as I hit submit (for this post).
-
(Quote) In before @VirMach was actually James Sanborn in disguise this whole time.

Started with a UK VPS in 2017 and eventually moved over to their NL location. This one is going to be a tough one to replace as I can count on maybe one hand the number of times their services have gone down over the years.
-
I don't normally double post, but I can't seem to edit my previous post. Anyways, the situation definitely went south and would really appreciate it if @VirMach would take a look at this. I am honestly quite put off by the way this was handled by su…

Sometime within the past year, gmail started marking [email protected] as spam and I didn't get the migration notification e-mail at all. I only noticed it today as the "oh, it's offline on Hetrix" turned into "oh, it's been offline…

Looking forward to the epic story about how the entire SJC data center was taken over by terrorists and @VirMach had to hire the A-Team to take them down and restore access. Edit: On an unrelated note, my Tokyo server had about 1hr 25mins downtime …

(Quote) Panel for my SJC server still isn't loading zzz Has been down for about 3 weeks according to hetrix.

(Quote) Locked nodes see the following: (Image) Management button is broken, but does tell you that the node is under maintenance.
-
(Quote) I also have a storage special, but I'm not sure what node it's on. Billing says "The node is currently locked" with no other info that I can find. What's really interesting is that I can still ssh into it and the network seems to w…

Is there an expiration date on this coupon? I don't need anymore US locations now that Seattle is out of the cards (or am I remembering wrong here?) Would be looking to wait for Tokyo to come back in stock. With all the random outages I've seen over…
-
(Quote) That seems to be the case on my end as well. I'll try accessing from another country and see if that helps. I seem to remember something like this happening before during a previous holiday season sale...

Not sure what the deal is but I'm still seeing the 2022 BF calculator thing on the BF page. Tried setting agent to a random phone and disabling caching but still no good.

(Quote) This worked like a charm. I'll keep it in mind for the future. Hope it helps anyone else who runs into this issue. Thanks again! I want to keep this deal all to myself, but against my better judgement I'll post the YABS here for LAX Quadran…

(Quote) That's really strange, the error isn't showing on my side. Here's the direct imgur link: https://i.imgur.com/qiOQweK.png But basically it says "Welcome to Grub! Error: no such partition" then the prompt is saying "grub rescue&…

(Quote) It's all good. I'll make due with this banger of a biennial storage special in LA (2c/2gb/4TB@$2.67/m) for now since it has a decently good ping to Japan. On a somewhat related note, my initial install seems to be broken and the instruction…

(Quote) Yes, I was referring to that with the "missed it" part. Next time, gadget!
-
Been waiting for someone to post up an offer for that Tokyo storage node and somehow missed it! Would like something closer to 2TB, but I'll honestly take what I can get. Imagine if the current storage offer was available in Tokyo... One can dream I…

Over a hundred e-mails about Tokyo VPS going up and down. Some people need to find a better hobby.
-
Looking into possible 512MB VPS locations but it looks like some of your looking glasses are down. Phoenix and LAX2 for example.

(Quote) I think it's a little bit of a stretch to call brown and light brown yellow. In fact, I think you're just trying to instigate. Kind regards, Another Asian With Actually Brown Skin

(Quote) Spoke too soon. Just went down in the middle of testing zzz Edit: My node died at least.

In before it's some guy who had their $2.22 Tokyo VPS refunded.

(Quote) Pretty sure that olive branch was already extended.

Daily "kicking myself" post for missing out on Tokyo storage...

(Quote) Picked up the 11.11 SJ offer since it was better than my other SJ server in terms of price/performance. Half the price with a ton more bandwidth to work with.
-
Of course the Tokyo vps drops and my account is still restricted. Vacations suck man. Edit: Wait, that server is whack. Nevermind. Vacations are awesome. Still would like the account hold removed though...
-
Account got restricted on the 2.22 deal. Oh well, I don't even want LAX anyways...
-
Think I managed to pick up the 11.11 SJ deal. Half the price of my other SJ VPS with similar specs and ~2.3x the bandwidth and an extra core. Might actually be done here but still love seeing the deals.

(Quote) Location, location, location...

(Quote) About 1 month too late unfortunately. Was waiting to snag an SJ on BF but ended up going with another provider.
-
(Quote) Just send it to Tokyo. Higher prices will drive away shady users and you know it's still going to get sold even then.

Actually looked into this software a while back. Really useful for getting things done quickly if you're crunched for time. Kind of like a phone app filter but with a lot more options. Not as powerful as the more expensive stuff, but most people don…
