Quick question for anyone using Vultr's Free Tier.

Has anyone received an approval lately?

I'm mostly trying to understand how the application process works these days. Do they normally send a rejection email if you're not selected, or do applications simply stay pending until a slot opens up?

It would be great to hear some recent experiences.

    I was never approved for a free account and I work for several 501(c)3s. You won't get emailed if you're not selected. You just won't hear anything.

    Not true, I have a free tier with IPv4, approved in a few hours after applying. It is not mentioned when will expire as they are evaluating the service.

    2026-06-26 Quick update:

    I opened a support ticket to ask about my application.

    The support team checked my account and confirmed that my Free Tier application is still pending and under review.

    They also said that if they need any additional information, they will contact me, and I will be notified once the application has been processed, regardless of the outcome.

    So for now, it seems the only thing to do is wait.

    I am updated the description on 2026-06-26.
