A sudden surge in signups are never a good thing.

The influx of new registrations on the NodeSeek forum was simply due to someone posting a promotion for Shock Hosting dedicated servers—there’s no need to jump to conspiracy theories. Besides, aren't these users genuine, highly relevant potential customers?

Someone leaked the promotion that is only meant for existing LES members - not playing by the rules.

New signups because of the leaks will highly likely be people not playing by the rules either.

It was a user from the LES forum who leaked the information to the NodeSeek forum; in fact, NodeSeek users only register on LES to ensure they comply with the relevant rules and the service provider's requirements. Drop the arrogance—don’t write off an entire group just because of one illogical, isolated case. My account has already been banned; I went out of my way to use a temporary email address just to reply to you—not to register, but solely to respond to you.

You nodeseek users have a reputation donchanoe?

This is not an isolated incident.

And also this reeks of AI.

Sorry, but your "most reputable" and "most noble" forum is about to ban me. Perhaps these posts will be seen by more people—that’s enough for me.

Yup, typical nodeseek user. Can't get their way so resolve to tantrums.

    Or in Chinese, 撒泼打滚

NodeSeek is a Chinese-language community, and the majority of its users are Chinese. If you want to engage in racial discrimination, feel free to say so openly—I don’t mind. Furthermore, not everyone in the world uses English; surely using translation tools doesn’t violate this forum’s rules, does it?

Oh yeah, the race card... We are so scared...

There are more Chinese language forums out there that are way more civilized than nodeseek.

There are way more chinese speakers here that behave nicely.

Why can't you be more like them?

You're not using AI to merely translate. You are hiding behind AI and let it do your replies.

Please introduce yourself and tell us why you want to join this forum?

I'm a VPS enthusiast and content creator from China. I'm particularly interested in high-storage VPS plans, mainly for storing family photos and the videos and other media files I create. I'd love to join the community, explore available VPS deals, exchange experiences with other members, and hopefully find a VPS that suits my needs.

How did you discover lowendspirit and do you have any extra information you would like to add e.g. interests, hobbies etc.

I discovered this forum through Chinese VPS communities and LowEndTalk.I'm a cat lover and have five cats at home. I'm also a big Formula 1 fan, and my favorite driver is Sebastian Vettel. It's a shame that he's retired, as I really miss seeing him on the track.I'm also interested in AI agents, even though I don't have a technical background.

There are 2 types of members human and Bot/AI which 1 of these do we want and what are you?

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what this question means. But if I had to choose, I'd go with "human." A forum needs real people, and I'm a real person too.

Hi, I'm keen on vps, on the side I run my own small servers and self-hosted services, so I'm always looking for reliable, fairly priced VPS and dedicated servers in Asia. I'd like to join LES to follow provider offers, read honest reviews, and learn from people who actually use this stuff. Happy to share my own notes in return.

How did you discover lowendspirit and do you have any extra information you would like to add e.g. interests, hobbies etc.

I came across LES while looking for a server deal. I also read LowEndTalk from time to time. Outside of servers, I like films, writing, and tinkering with automation.

I’m a technology enthusiast interested in Linux, VPS hosting, networking, and self-hosted applications. I enjoy setting up servers, experimenting with open-source software, and learning through hands-on projects. How did you discover lowendspirit and do you have any extra information you would like to add e.g. interests, hobbies etc.

I discovered LowEndSpirit while searching online for information about VPS hosting and self-hosting. My interests include Linux server administration, Docker, networking, open-source tools, and AI applications. In my spare time, I enjoy trying out new software and improving my personal server setup. Hi everyone, I'm a self-hosting hobbyist. I got into low-end VPS while looking for cheap storage for personal backups and a few small services. I want to join here to follow deals, learn from more experienced members, and share what I try out myself.

How did you discover lowendspirit and do you have any extra information you would like to add e.g. interests, hobbies etc.

I discovered LowEndSpirit after I started researching LowEndRack VPS plans. I was comparing their Houston storage offers and saw this forum mentioned in deal discussions, so I came over to check out the community. Besides VPS deals, I'm interested in Linux, home servers, and finding good value hardware.

There are 2 types of members human and Bot/AI which 1 of these do we want and what are you?

Human. You want human members, and I am human, not a bot.

I am a backend game developer. Lately, I’ve become quite engrossed in "Vibe Coding." My services are currently hosted on Cloudflare, but due to recent issues with my billing, I’m planning to purchase a dedicated server to host them instead—which is why I’ve been keeping a close eye on information regarding servers.

How did you discover lowendspirit and do you have any extra information you would like to add e.g. interests, hobbies etc.

I came across a promotion for a $99 dedicated server from ShockHosting on another forum today, so I’d like to register an account to check out the details. This will also make it easier for me to stay updated on future special offers.

There are 2 types of members human and Bot/AI which 1 of these do we want and what are you?

This forum likely doesn't want AI or bots; I am a human.

I'm a self-hosting hobbyist who runs a small home lab and a couple of low-end VPS and dedicated servers for personal projects. I mainly tinker with Linux, networking, and server management, and I like comparing providers, reading benchmarks, and keeping costs low without sacrificing stability. I want to join LowEndSpirit to learn from experienced members, follow honest deal discussions, and share my own testing notes.

How did you discover lowendspirit and do you have any extra information you would like to add e.g. interests, hobbies etc.

I discovered LowEndSpirit through LowEndTalk threads about budget dedicated servers and web searches for community reviews of smaller hosts. My interests are low-end VPS, dedicated servers, homelab setups, and network performance testing. Outside servers, I enjoy reading tech forums and tinkering with Linux.
