2 TB bandwidth with 1 GBps speed/month (if the limit is exceeded, it is limited to 100 mbit/s unlimited until the following month)

    Hello calin
After 2TB is exhausted, what is the limit per month @ 100mbit/s?

it is limited to 100 mbit/s unlimited until the following month :)

    Hello @hotsnow
yes, I have seen the word unlimited.
but wanted to double confirm before exceeding bandwidth limit and getting into some unknown troubles may be :)
    That's why I had tagged @Calin

Well, I switched to a different method:

    1. I installed WireGuard client on the LowEndSeedbox, with AllowedIPs set to the subnet of my other WireGuard clients.
    2. Firewall allows accessing qBittorrent WebUI and Rclone HTTP server only on the WireGuard interface.
    3. I can operate qBittorrent and stream TV episodes on my other WireGuard clients.

Traffic is still encrypted but there's no TLS involved.

What were you originally trying to do ?

    Why?

you know, when each episode of your favorite soap opera costs you so much effort to get it... than it tastes much better :D

I access PulsedMedia seedbox via Caddy reverse proxy on WireGuard server.
It's for a different reason: getting around network congestion and lack of TCP BBR.

Why not just get a seedbox provider that doesn’t have horrible congestion?

    • iHostART €5.50 for 50GB
    • AlexHost €11.88 for 10GB
    • PulsedMedia €18 for 450GB
    • IncogNet $25 for 20GB
    • BuyVM $57 for 256GB

I usually download MeGusta content that is 600MB for a double-length 80min episode.
However, some content (e.g. PilotsEye) is only available in bigger files, up to 18GB for an episode.
Hence, I want at least 30GB disk.

PulsedMedia is increasing to €81, so I'm switching to iHostART.

Apparently Zurich location is. I’ve been using public torrents since a few months now.

    Why?

  • Is it still available? @Calin

  • LowEndSeedbox is fast at the moment.
I set qBittorrent limits to 5MB/s upload, 5MB/s download, 100 connections, 8 upload slots.
Within the same duration on the same private tracker, it's getting higher ratio than PulsedMedia.

Once all these 200+ slots are filled, I expect a significant performance drop.
Disk bandwidth is shared after all.
The server has 4TB disks so there are 80 slots per disk.
Disk bandwidth is 80MB/s so each slot gets average 1MB/s.

limiting factor here will not be a hard disk transfer rate (that mentioned 80MB/s) but number of IOPS these disks are able to provide

Geekbench 5 test failed. Run manually to determine cause.

I don't know if you solved this yet, but it's most likely running out of memory. GB5 can't run on 512MB of memory.

If it has a SWAP file by default, and it's defaulting to SWAP on those disk speeds, I can see why it would crash 🙈
