Seems like both, @VirMach and @FrankZ have left the building at the same time. I am wondering if they will return together after two weeks of the hot sun at Acapulco.

Three months ago, VirMach boarded an F22 flight to Dallas to repair the VPS, but the flight was delayed, and they are still waiting in the airport lounge.
I bet that node reboot is all that's required here, but it doesn't help if the only person who can do that is in a deep state of medica... meditation somewhere in the Andes mountains

We have identified an issue with the disks FFME004 and FFME05 and are currently working on a solution to bring the nodes back online with as little data loss as possible, if any. Access to the control panel has been disabled while we work on this. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this.
Someone is alive!
Haven't bought a single service in VirMach Great Ryzen 2022 - 2023 Flash Sale.
I had a bunch of non-critical stuff on servers I've gotten from BF in the past few years. This year they wouldn't process any of my credit cards and then terminated the services. No real loss, just wondering who else may provide similar value?
@ZA_capetown said: Nobody else provides similar value, especially not when compared to the Virmach BF specials.
I can't agree with that.
If you consider every aspect of a service (resources, stability, support, price, locations...) not just the resources/price ratio imho nothing compares to GCV special deals.

Maybe Xmas or New Years some providers will have some specials you might like.
Was a reason given for terminating your services?
Are you a multi account MJJ related person?
I tried to pay the invoices and the payments wouldn't go through. couldn't get anyone for support with the payment so just kinda gave up. No multi-account.

DALZ007 has successfully been offline for 100 days now!
lmao.
isn't it already holiday season? probably try your luck next year matey
btw has anyone know what will happen at virmach vps when they runs out of bandwidth? want to know how slow are they (some provider just give 1-5 MB/s until next month reset)
Fuck this 24/7 internet spew of trivia and celebrity bullshit.

RYZE.NYC-B034X has been dead for a few weeks now and I cant open a ticket because the scripts that the ticket system runs to figure out if its me opening a dumb ticket or if the server is really offline don't complete. The window says it will take 30 seconds maximum but it never finishes. ( @Virmach thought this server had maybe had its cpu thermal paste dry up when I reported a problem with the server a month ago.) I'd love to renew the VPS on this server but I'm not going to risk renewing a dead server that might stay like that for months.
That prompted me to look at my SEA VPS: it's on 002 but not working due to IP change. Goes off to manually configure..
In stasis until the shitposting stops/abates.

Some really crazy shit going on.
From a yabs and a couple of visual traceroutes, it appears that SEAZ002 now resides in Ashburn, VA (New York?). The torturous network path from UK, includes transits all over the World.
This is one of the few VPS that I haven't renewed yet and given I purchased due to it being in Seattle, WA, I may as well save the massive £7.49/yr. Goes off to check a Phoenix one on the same invoice..

I visited on Sunday evening before my flight out of LAX.
I didn't find a data center company logo, but it's the right address, and the cooling tower on the roof checks out.
Who's DC is that suppose to be Quadranet or Hivelocity ?

We are investigating an unexpected outage with SEAZ001.
There is a SEAZ001 ?
Answering my own question. I expect that SEAZ001 and SEAZ002 are nodes that were moved from Seattle to San Jose, but still carry the Seattle node designation in the panel. I have a VM on what shows as SEAZ002, but it is in San Jose, CA.

I've confirmed it via doing tracepath from RackNerd Seattle to RYZE.SEA-Z002.VMS.
Now, ping rtt avg from RackNerd Seattle to VirMach "Seattle" is 21.829ms.
So I am here wondering ....
Did VirMach go on vacation, which I doubt, has he developed a health issue, or has he decided that LES is more problems than we are worth. aka, this is not fun anymore, FTS.
Also wondering if @tulipyun will sell me his non working DALZ007 4 core, 4 GB RAM, 135 GB NVMe $20/yr VM instead of canceling it.

I only have a tiny VPS at DALZ007 and so far it has not grown.
But it's an honor to witness Virmach making new history every day.

MOAR downtime or absenteeism
Yes. Probably not.
Maybe virmach is flying around the U.S. fixing the servers?
Have you seen anything fixed?

He's sailing to Germany right now to fix FFME04. It may take some time a arrive, but it will be fixed. It will!
RYZE.NYC-B034X has finally fully melted down and is offline now. Maybe he's taking it apart RIGHT NOW and applying fresh thermal paste?
On the sailing boat? Not most likely.
I think @VirMach got lost in MJJ maze.
Finally got sick and tired of them and decided to find patient zero. One can only hope
