Now that my FFME003 is back up and running, how do I pick between it and the temporary/secondary server I created? In my case, I'd prefer to keep the temporary/secondary server as it's closer. I'm not in a hurry--just curious if I'd missed a step along the way.

it having been about a week since Virmach's last post, the question I've really started to ask myself is if he has taken a job somewhere else, and if there is anyone running Virmach's day to day operations. I can't really blame him if that's the case, it's hard to live off of $0.25 VPSes, but an acknowledgement of what's going on and possibly sending out whatever backups he has to customers would be nice.

Don't trust me as I don't generally pay attention to European servers. @Jab would be the man. I know there was a huge migration thing though...
Trying to connect to cPanel via the IP address and port leads me to a 503 "server is too busy to handle the request" error from CPSRVD. I don't know what triggers that error, but is this something a simple reboot could fix? Maybe something got stuck and is using CPU like crazy.

VM is running fine, but can't make changes due to the following message that I've received for months:

Finally opened a ticket (#467020) 10 days ago regarding this. No response. Is this provider just on auto-pilot now? A real shame as I've been a customer for years with no real problems.

I did get an email from Virmach on June 9, 2024 saying my SJC VPS IP was changing. That was a bit rough as I was on vacation without a proper PC/laptop so I couldn't properly use VNC to manually fix the networking (the fix networking button doesn't work - it just updated the IP address in /etc/network/interfaces but the NIC was set to eth0 which isn't right - it was enp0s3 for me). I have some small websites running due to other providers cancelling their cPanel hosting, now it looks like I need to find a new provider soon.

However, based on the information on https://status.virm.ac/, it is assumed that the node went offline three days ago.
It also seems that Virmach is no longer updating the network status page, so I don't know how to find the information anymore.
