Looks like the nodes that going offline, broken and listed on 'Network status' page as 'known problems' will be never fixed.
Best example: ATLZ033 (broken 1+years), The whole SJZ* location, AMSD037 etc. Technically they not solve any node (probably hardware?) issue, if something goes wrong. They not provide any relevant details, not communicate with us. Not provide (free) migration, or VM "re-creation" on these case.
Now the "LAXA026" and "LAXA019" nodes gone also. -2 small VM again for me.
Probably I will simple cancel all of the offline VM's from broken nodes before the renewal date(s). Keep only the working instances until these nodes going offline too.

The other day I figured what the heck, lets pay $3, and see what happens when I try to migrate the "not available" VM on TYOC007 to Chicago.
After three days it's still in the transfer queue. So I continue to advise everybody save your $3 and don't try to migrate a truly broken VM.

At the moment I don't dare run anything valuable on any of my VirMach VM's, so I guess regaining trust might prove to be quite a challenge ...
(I've had some fun and did some learning through these years, so not really complaining.)
My position on VirMach's has been:
When buying an extremely low cost, self managed, high spec VPS, that states up front that there is basically no customer service, other than the provider will make an honest effort to keep the service running, one should have the expectation that there will be occasional outages when things break and the time required for the provider to repair in a reasonable time.
Over the course of 12 years one might also expect some IP changes with a provider who owns no IPs as well as an extended outage here and there.
When @VirMach was keeping the low end customers informed at LET/LES, I considered that a level of customer service above and beyond what was contracted. I've been pretty vocal about how happy I was with my service here at LES. I still believe VirMach was best cost/value provider I have used in the last 25 years.
That said, when seven of my thirteen VMs are down for a week or more, others are having similar experiences, and the provider has not said pio in months, I have to agree it is bad.
There could be many valid reasons for why things went dark at VirMach, we all knew it was basically a one man show. I have no more info on what the story is than the rest of you here at LES. I can only have best wishes for Soheil, and if VirMach can rise from the half dead I'm all for it.

FYI - Some of the LA servers may be back up. There was a tripped power breaker on one of the PDUs that we fixed for him earlier.
