    That is nice!

  • I just got here and there's a wonderful POST-BF Frenzy (that I clearly have no ability to comprehend).

    What just happened? I thought we had finished the hard part and had to go away to do some real work.

    May I know if you're removing the Q or not removing it from the alphabet, and are you applying it to the entire block, or just that chunk?

    I am converting the codes using the presumed key without any changes, and then taking out the letter that would be where the Q was after. Is that incorrect?

    I suspect... he's hinting the Q should first be removed
    - then decode it

    • then where the Q was/position of the Q we do the testing adding back a letter?

    @Wonder_Woman

    That's what it's sounding like

    How was this addressed:

    Everybody's giving up?

    Still trying, but will probably need to soon. I can't even figure out how to exclude a specific letter from decoding, and then reinsert it without doing it on paper by hand. It's already late and I still have a lot of work left to do before I can sleep. :'(

    And did I say anything on how to address or not address this issue? At this point I'm just trying to figure out if I said something I shouldn't have said in a bad way. I hope that makes sense. I'm still trying to not spell it out just in case we go into overtime once I determine whether or not that's fair.

    This was your further explanation:

    So to explain what the missing letter means, as I don't want you guys to be confused by the wording, it means you will exclude that letter from the decoding. Let's say you think it's the letter "A" you would exclude that from decoding, and therefore it remains as "A" after decoding. And then it gets replaced after decoding (all A's in this specific example only, will get replaced with one other letter, from B to Z. This takes some bruteforcing which is why I said you guys should work together.

  • HqMMOZGN not working X

    you're able to remove it from the alphabet group during the decoding part, which resulted in the second set of codes we are currently working on. this was after decoding (without any removal in that alphabet group part of the decoding process) then swapping out the letter for [A-Z] did not work
