Day 3's are done outside of the four I have to wait/re-evaluate later. For reference, just so you know in case you're one of these:
AMSD014
AMSD029
CHIZ030
NYCB028
Don't worry you're on a spreadsheet and I won't forget about you.

I have one on CHI-Z027 which ordered at Sat, 28 Dec 2024 2:17:23 PM +0800 but nothing happened to it yet.
Is this one gets forgotten or just no mystery to it?

Names provided are the names that will appear on service page and not SolusVM. Okay I'm updating the friendly names on SolusVM to reduce the confusion.

If there was a Tokyo order, then it was missed because I wasn't expecting an order in Tokyo. Okay, I've located your order. You're the only person who ordered it there. Sorry about that. I've based this on future nodes for Tokyo (it benefits you, otherwise 30% smaller.) Last deal here was 1GB, 1 Core, 30GB, 512 Data for $16.68/yr.
Offer CANDLE #3
SKU: TYOC007
3 cores 1388MB RAM 1536MB RAM (Rounded Up, Courtesy)
105GB NVMe Storage
1 IPv4
2048GB Bandwidth
TOKYO, JP
~$60/2YR* per 2 YEARS
*Estimated value for this one is difficult but 1.5GB / 1C / 40GB / 1TB on same node has sold for $20.73/YR and on a different one 2GB / 3 Core / 70GB / 2TB for $39.08/YR so somewhere between those two.
I was going to describe everything and exactly how it went down but I've decided against it as it's better people don't see what happened behind the scenes, what they could have got but didn't, and so on. Just know that the process was very complicated and I didn't just only randomly add stuff. If you received more or less, there's a reason for it. Two wheel spins per service plus a lot of other things input into a spreadsheet formula.
And my solution to the resource problem described was to pool everything together and if it was taken away from one, we tried giving it to another that had bad luck and got literally nothing as a result of bad luck in the process.
Then there's one set of last prizes left over, but to claim it you need to let me know if this plan was yours, by making a ticket, and requesting your final prize. You may not want it, so you have to explicitly request it.
If this is your exact plan, contact us if you want us to duplicate it. The plan would be duplicated, including the pricing. So you'd get a second one with those specifications in the same location for $18.88 per two years. The first two years are free. You rolled on a duplicate. I just don't want to generate it and you didn't want a second one.
If this is your exact plan (double check with me, I'm pretty sure you're the only one, but not 100%) then contact us if you want us to duplicate it. Same as above, duplicated, including pricing. You rolled on a duplicate, unfortunately you didn't get anything else (well you still got day 5 mystery.) It's still technically another copy free for 2 years so you might want it.
I want another candle but can't decide which location to pick.

Already have all, with multiples in most, that is the dilemma.
Only have one in Atlanta, but not sure if FLEXENTIAL is the right place to go.

nice! thanks. i've been keeping tabs on Tokyo for a while, so i have a vague idea of how it's like. that said, since dealer decides; any chance of negotiating for additional 1 GB RAM?
@FrankZ said: Only have one in Atlanta, but not sure if FLEXENTIAL is the right place to go.
It's been really stable so far from the beginning of flash sales.
Before adding servers to my UptimeKuma farm to avoid false alarms I put these through the ringer of 9 other smokeping instances to look and avoid cases of jitter or poor / oversaturated routes. YMMV of course if noisy neighbour ensues on a node, but the location itself is gold Jerry, gold.

I trust your network evaluation, gold, huh. I like gold. Ok, I bought one in Atlanta and ended up on Node ATLZ032.
I normally do not notice the neighbors on VirMach VMs so we should be good there.

We pay a lot for the network with FLEX. It's the datacenter's blend. Previously when we were with Dedipath, they mixed in a single carrier into it to save money. I haven't really looked into it but I assume they're either expensive because of a combination of (1) price-gouging, and (2) actually putting in more expensive carriers into their blend.

Okay for yours I'm going to reveal some of the procedure that occurred in the background for all of these. Could be fun.
You landed on ATLZ032 which got your RAM changed to 2560MB and your CPU changed to 2. Then I go through your account and grab statistics from it and plug it into a spreadsheet. These numbers aren't what you'll be getting but they're the suggested "stage 1" numbers. Then it goes through two wheel spins that could royally mess things up or make them better. These are based on each individual account.
Half the Price (this is on a second roll not the same)
So the opposite of halving the price is doubling the price.
So @msatt that means you ended up receiving this in the end, but if you want to renew it, this would be 2x the original price. In this case you're also allowed to (1) obviously not renew it, (2) ask me to revert it to what you got for day 5 only which is 2560MB, 2TB BW, 2 Core, 25GB and keep the price the same.
7168MB RAM, 2 IPv4, 36352GB Bandwidth, 2 CPU, 85GB Disk for $37.76 per 2 years.
If you don't reply back here I'll probably send you a warning on your account since this is a weird one that I might not have normally processed and instead asked you confirm first.
For reference your other option if reverted:
2560MB RAM, 1 IPv4, 2048GB Bandwidth, 2 CPU, 25GB Disk for $18.88 per 2 years.
You can technically reach out right before renewal to revert it then as well, if you can save this post and remind me what happened two years ago.

Beyond that, they have a good global footprint of PoPs to handle traffic. So instead of all traffic to one data center and drop, it's riding their network backbone to Atlanta.
If you wait 10 seconds and look at the MTR's (click show) you'll see it enters the flex network very close to the origin server. Then rides Flex's backbone to Atlanta.
In some cases you'll see they peer with NetActuate via their Comcast connection. I usually hate 'house blends' but this is a very very good house blend, especially with traffic entering their network all around the US, not taking transit to Atlanta. Quite impressive tbh.
In this entire time zero packet loss from China APAC mainland. Very impressive.
Comments
prizes = dealer mystery? or dealer mystery is extra on top of prize?
Extra on top of day 5 mystery for anyone who ordered day 4/5.
It should've got two things. Like 55GB disk and 5TB bandwidth or whatever else if not bandwidth.
Right you are, 55GB disk and 5TB BW, didn't see the BW change

Oh wow, when #5 hit #4 combined my 1vCPU, 1GB, 55GB space, 5TB BW evolved into:
1 vCPU, 3GB, 115GB space, 57.25 TB BW , for seemingly half the price biennially. That's some wild s*** right there.
Gonna idle this so hard, thank you Virmachclaus
