We recommend performing the IP change yourself to make the transition as smooth as possible. To do so, please navigate to your server's "full VPS control panel", click the "Network" tab, and click the "Set as Main IP Address" button next to the newly added IP address. When you have confirmed that the new IP address has been set as your main IP address, click the "Re-configure Networking" button to configure the new IP address(es) to your server.

Very frustrated over this. We contacted them July 11th requesting it to be moved over to NYJ, on July 14th they asked us which servers we wanted it assigned to even though we didn't request that (we have our own switch in NYJ) but they didn't even complete the most important part of announcing them in NYJ before just asking us the follow-up question multiple days later just to stall, then assigned to networking team, only for the same guy to come back (not networking guy) to literally say:
Hello Soheil,
Jaden D
And can't get a hold of anyone, I mean I did communicate to networking team successfully yesterday and told them what was going on, then they just disappeared. I assumed they'd have it figured out by now. LOA already processed a long time ago, it should already be on their AS at least.
VirBot is live, it's just a WHMCS plugin we got that someone else made for now. It works pretty well for an initial reply but it's not meant to replace human support or anything like that. Let me know if you have any suggestions. The message is clearly labeled as an AI reply, and lets you know that it's still in the queue for a human to review it as per usual.

No, you do not need an AI bot. A simple IR bot is good enough for sure since there are no more than 10 common QA, including "blocked" issue

I decided to take a nap and this happened, power outage, the two that didn't come online automatically was an issue with a recent change that misbehaved after reboot. These comedic timings are getting way too powerful, I swear it was probably within 5 minutes of falling asleep. Luckily I woke up pretty quickly to take care of my portion of it but I guess I forgot to create a network status update.
I've been kind of/sort of working on a better network issue system. It's a long way from actually being a thing but if it ever comes out I think it'll basically fix the part of this job I'm pretty terrible at which is providing updates.

Interesting. Not sure if it would've been abusers. I wonder if something was misbehaving ever so slightly that finally went away after a reboot, like maybe a zombie process or a few virtual servers just acting up internally. Let me know node name if it re-appears.

You're saying we should hire a frontend developer, just so they can revert it to the default SolusVM module and WHMCS page where half the page is just billing information at the top and then barely any functions like RN? Also I don't see how GCV's is better. Their is default of the module we use but details moved to the top.

A reset a few moments ago did the trick for mine in the end - that didn't work earlier today... Now let's see how long it keeps on running...
For me they shutdown after a bit or can't boot at all , had the same issue in NY but virmach fixed it there.
If you reboot it , you will be stuck on the boot screen (in my case)
The example you gave, I actually like it. But why mention RN and GCV instead of just going to this and being constructive? But anyway ours is still better, I'm going to improve it a little bit more based on this just adding icons and such.
Our boot/reboot/shutdown buttons are definitely still better, I don't see how having those three as giant buttons being good at all. I don't see how seeing storage like that is helpful with a usage bar that's incorrect. I don't see how it's useful to see the type being KVM. I don't see how it's useful for root password to be there with just an edit button, seems like if the main focus is the button then it should just be a button. I also don't see how having "details" and "view server details and resources" there is better than just having your service name an IP right there at the top.
rather than wasting time on changing billing panel, I wish @Virmach put some effort of solving Missing Debian template in Phoenix node. It says Debian is there, re-install goes thru it seems, but after 30 sec., it just goes back to where it was before, the the panel says Debian is installed as if it did, but rather did nothing, just stays as it was. All other templates works fine but this damn Debian template.

I think he's just being weird, I also agree that you probably have the nicest looking SVM frontend right now. THAT BEING SAID: please make it less clicks to get to the actual main SVM panel. Throw another button on there or something.

I personally agree with this but at the same time, if we put a tiny barrier of entry to the full control panel, then the people that have no business going there won't go there. Okay, I have an idea.

Are you actually having any boot problems there? Tickets in this case please, these aren't node wide issues, most likely related to specific virtual servers.
@VirMach said: Are you actually having any boot problems there?
Not me.
AMS nodes were restarted yesterday, but unlike some people who posted here yesterday I have no issues. My AMS vps is up and running. Most likely isolated incidents related to their OS, attached image or something.
Still no response from NYJ DC regarding this unlucky IP range announcement?
Alright, I think I'm basically done with the changes at this point, thanks for the feedback everyone. Oh wow, look at the time, I guess that's all the time we have left for today and we definitely won't be able to address anything else such as missing templates or Amsterdam related events. Oh shoot, if only I had not wasted all the time we had today on this.
@Mumbly said: Still no response from NYJ DC regarding this unlucky IP range announcement?
Only infuriating responses. Turns out worse than I thought it was originally, but I explained it, and they went back to the original thing they like doing which is asking me which server. Like oh my god come on do they not understand how announcements work and that it's literally our switch that we own and have access to? As if me telling them the name of the server would somehow resolve everything to where they could magically announce it once they have the server name.
I would just tell them the server name from the beginning if they haven't previously also just completely wrecked switch configuration for no reason by me mentioning it. The switch configuration is already good, I didn't want them to ruin it. That's all.
